Introducing the recent Union of Thomas and Mary.
How we Met:
We were introduced to each other at work, by a co-worker. Then we started talking and eventually went to lunch together.
Thus began a friendship, and a whirlwind that ended up in a relationship. It all happened naturally, and simply. Our first
date was a dinner (Chevy's) and a double feature at the movies (Spiderman, and Star Wars 2).
The Proposal:
On March 18, 2004, we were at a dinner with my family. Some good natured teasing by my uncle led to opening
the door for Tom to make it known that he wanted to talk to my dad. At some point in the evening he spoke to both my parents
separately, who apparently gave their blessing. Tom wanted to talk to me while everyone was around. I had an inkling
as to what was going on, and I wanted him to talk to me in private, a way from my family. So we went to my apartment.
While there, he asked me to sit on the couch. He then kneeled in front of me, and looked me in the eyes. He said: "Mary, You
are in my heart, you are in my soul. I want in my life forever. Will you marry me?" With that he pulled the box out of his
pocket, and opened it. I was in awe. I barely saw the ring. What I was focusing on was the sincerity in his eyes, and feeling
the calmness in my spirit. I knew, and forever will know that this is the man I wish to spend the rest of my life with.

The Cole is a nice Hotel, and is located within walking distance of the reception site, and the quaint downtown Clovis.
Honeymoon Plans
For our Honeymoon we went to Monterey, at a 4 star hotel. We toured the Aquarium, ate at restraunts on the warf and
visited the various other sites of the area.
